CBO Says Health-Law Repeal Would Add $137 Billion to Deficits
Repealing the Affordable Care Act would cost the U.S. government $137 billion over the next decade, the Congressional Budget Office said.
The report found that repealing the health-care law would increase deficits by $353 billion over 10 years. But after taking into account economic factors, that amount would fall to $137 billion. It also said repeal would increase the number of uninsured by 19 million in 2016.
